Rockhampton Panthers AFC is a foundation club of AFL Capricornia.
Youth Preseason is starting back up this week, Tuesday 21st January!
Trainings is scheduled for each Tuesday and Thursday @ 5pm to 6pm.
Suitable for any players (boys and girls) interested in trialling for school rep footy or anyone that wants to have a kick.
Training will be done as a squad and is open for players 10yrs (born 2015) to 17yrs old. Training will be predominantly game based.
U/17.5s are encouraged to attend Senior Preseason training 6pm - 7:30 Tuesdays and Thursdays. ⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️⚫️
We are excited to announce Sam Gudgeon and Shannon Roati as our U/13.5 Boys Coaches for 2025!
Sam and Shannon have been members of Rockhampton Panthers AFC for a combined 37 years. With over 500 games and a decade of club presidency between them, they have been crucial in shaping the overall direction of the club in recent years. Both have coached senior teams and are passionate about growing Aussie Rules in Central Queensland. We can't wait to see them lead our U13.5s this season.
Here’s what Sam had to say about 2025: "Last year, our U13.5s were a young and promising team, full of potential. This season, we're excited to watch them grow in confidence, strength, fitness and skills. But above all, we want them to have fun and enjoy playing footy with their mates".

We are excited to announce Amy Mill as our U/16 Girls Coaches for 2025!
Amy is arguably Panthers AFC most decorated player as a multiple premiership player, multiple Panthers B&Fs, Grand Final BOG and NQ Representative. Amy is keen to share her knowledge and passion for the game with the next generation of Women players.
Here’s what Amy had to say about 2025: This year I want to build on the foundations that Brae has laid, focusing on doing the basics well. But mostly, I want the girls to finish the 2025 season saying that they had fun and learnt a lot.
